Tess and I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a great 2013.  Today, Tess had her stitches out and is basically mended and looking forward to opening her presents and everyone else’s tomorrow.  As well as eating as much as she can get away with. This is an old photo, but hopefully it won’t be too many days until we can let her get back to playing some of her favourite games. She loves a bit of rough and tumble but obviously she needs to take it easy for a bit while everything heals. Right now she is having a little nap by the Christmas tree.

Thanks for the kind messages for Tess. Her recovery is still going well and she’s being such a good dog. This is an old photo, but hopefully it won’t be too many days until we can let her get back to playing some of her favourite games. Golden retriever anxiety on Flickr. Thanks for the responses to my message last night.. Work and Christmas preparations are certainly part of the reason for my current photography hiatus. But this girl is causing me a few headaches too. At this moment she’s looking at me a bit sleepy and forlorn after getting back from the vets today where she’s has had to have a pretty big operation. At this stage it seems to have gone well and I am just happy to have her home. But she’ll need some serious aftercare for the next 10 days, but hopefully she will be fully recovered just before Christmas.
